Deliver Overview
DELIVER, Developing Leadership and Innovation for Viral Eradication Research, aims to facilitate stakeholder and community engagement, build clinical site capacity and coordinate technology transfer, training, and validation of specific laboratory assays for HIV remission research.
Community Engagement
The DELIVER initiative aims to facilitate a network of Community Advisory Boards (CABs) focusing across clinical research sites to collaborate, learn and share best practices in engaging communities in HIV remission research.
Clinical Capacity Development
The DELIVER initiative aims to expand strategies for early HIV case identification to facilitate enrollment into HIV remission clinical trials.
Laboratory Capacity Development
The DELIVER initiative aims to implement specific assays to conduct HIV remission research, inclusive of technology transfer, training, and assay validation, as well as develop site-to-site collaboration to allow for a comprehensive panel of immunological and virological assays for cure trial outcome evaluation.

DELIVER Highlights
Building HIV Cure Research Capability Through Technology Transfer
Under the DELIVER initiative, MHRP researchers are conducting targeted technology transfer to expand HIV cure research capacity. Early efforts focus on transferring neutralization, pharmacokinetic (PK), and anti-drug antibody (ADA) assays to DELIVER partner sites, beginning in Tanzania and Thailand. By decentralizing these processes, DELIVER is strengthening local research infrastructure and advancing HIV research capabilities at a network of sites through Africa, Asia and South America.
